The pros are fixed. Their stats and skills can't be changed. Our creations can. You can implement rules that could make matches between our creations more sim-like (banning coaches, banning skills, attribute restrictions, etc), but you can't do that for pros cause they can't be edited. The only choice you have is to outright ban any problematic pros.

85 power by itself is not too bad imo. 85 power coupled with 90fh 90bh AND Mikolaj is where things get out of control. If you can break down that holy trio of High power, High strokes on both wings, and Mikolaj then 85 power by itself won't be as problematic.

85 power with 90fh 70bh and NO Mikolaj would play very differently from the characters running around now.

Hi guys!
I love the concept of minimum stats, if every player had 40 (or 45?, maybe 48!!?) as a base, there would be far fewer "serve out wide" matches

EMATE!!! LUL it's been so long. You prolly don't remember me cause it's been about 13 yrs but it's nice to see an old familiar name again.

Yeah minimum(and maximum) stats goes way back. I just tried to adjust it to 2k25 cause in TS4 the way coaches/skills worked was different.

Has he ever played against someone who isn't using the 85 power meta here at ITST? Except for one match, I've only experienced the same builds as on the World Tour. It's boring...
Moreover, I tried a different build, but you're simply without a chance with that.

The reality is the biggest issue is not even the power stat its how timing works in this game ,.it's based on when you release the shot , whereas Topsspin 4 was about when you pressed the button. Why does that matter ? in TS4 shot timing based on when you pressed meant you could not pre press flat power shots as the timing meant you chose your shot based on the type of shot coming towards you. most times you were responding to the shotand you did not have to wait for the ball to time it . In Topspin2K25 it's based on release which has you waiting for the ball a little bit meaning taking the ball early is harder by design and not because of a skill issue. which would be a natural counter to the power heavy game as you'd be taking time away from them to react. But shot timing is such that you can pre-press the flat shot button and as longer as you release on time you can hit power shots with perfect timing almost every time.
