With the release of Top Spin 2K25 - and a new ITST tour scheduled - surely there has to be a way to bring this Forum back to life.

Nothing wrong with the new digs (i.e. Discord) - other than the drapes not matching the carpet - but this Forum was the cat's meow back in the days of TS1, TS2, TS3 and TS4. It's got great bones, and a great history.

The Forum's a bit weathered but I'm sure (actually guessing) the old-timers might find comfort here.

So if you're an old-timer, please comment - let us know how you like the game. If you're a new-timer, also post a comment; give us your thoughts on the game.

The more posts the merrier.

Great to see this resurrection ! I spent such great time playing ITST tournaments at TS4.

But there is a big problem : it’s impossible to invite a friend for online match - which is stupid bu the way.

So how will we be able to do TS tournaments here ? Do you have any information about future update that will allow players to invite a friend for match ?

From the few articles I've read, the developers will add the option to invite friends by mid to late May. So it's an issue they are aware of and a fix is on the way.

"Online Exhibition multiplayer with skill-based random matchmaking will also be available at launch, supporting cross-platform play, but multiplayer between friends is planned for the near future and therefore won't be available at the release."

If someone has more specific details, or an update, please let us know.

Good thing they will fix this but how is it possible they didn’t allow players to invite friends at the beginning. Anyway, it is like this and we must wait for 2 to 4 weeks.

I also hope they will improve server because there are many authentication fails when you search for online leagues match.

Other point, they must do update about pro players level because Sharapova is totally cheated and all guys play with her in 2K Tour.

Last but really not least : what the hell did they do with players creation ? It’s soooo long to improve your guy to level’30 and also boring. Probably 50 or 60 hours are needed to do this !!! So it means it’s really too long to be able to play on created players online Tour with a 30 level own guy. And what about their virtual money ?? You need a lot to do anything and you don’t earn enough. I know they want us to spend money on dlc but it’s not TS philosophy. I also won’t talk about platinum trainings that must be done to be able to reach the star rank and then to be able to play Grand Slams on My career. This is stupid…

To sum all up : gameplay is really interesting, as always at TS, but almost all the rest is not ok.

Creating players is what I enjoy best, so yeah, that aspect of the game is mind-numbing. I don't have the patience, nor interest, in all the details.

On the (big!) plus side, gameplay is good/fun - and that matters most.

It'll take a while to get up and running, but when running, all should be good.

Great to see this back up. I spent some years on the TS2 PC tour back in the days.

I like the gameplay so far but really hope that they will improve matchmaking and add friend invites soon.

Hey, I used to play the TS4 Tour here for a while. I now have 2 players at level 30 and it takes between 20-30 hours. You later have more than enough virtual currency and now have over 20,000. The gameplay is great, almost like TS4.

What's the quickest way to level up a created player - it's taking me far too long.

Imo, My Career. Higher AI difficutly and More games per match gives more xp but it makes My Career worse personally. I did Dynamic and Normal for difficutly setting.
- Once you can start playing 1000s buy 25% xp boosts and use those in the 1000 finals. Use xp boosts in grandslams from quarter to final. You're going to need a good amt of these boosts.
- Get Kallange, Singapore home
- Get coaches (when you can play slams/atp finals)
Travel - Samara Oualid
Energy - Henry Le Duc
Merch - Rebecca Sampson
Hired all 3 on repeat for 12 months. In the beginning you go with the Energy/merch team coaches that give stats for 500 tournies, then 1000s, and the grandslams/atp finals setup coaches are above..

With this you can play a tourney every month. All 1000s, grandslams, and year ending event without needing to rest on dynamic/normal difficutly. Turn on a podcast/music and auto pilot ur way to 30

That's how I lvled up both my characters.

Even with this it still takes a while.

I chose light and dynamic. Use XP Booster for Finale. You are at level 30 when you have achieved all your career goals and are a superstar. With the 2 character everything went a little faster because there are enough virtual coins available. I used XP boosters in almost every match and was level 30 before my career goal.
