We'll know more when Tennis World Tour is released. At this point it seems that people are waiting to decide which game to purchase, TWT or AO.

With regard to an AO tour, if the interest is there then, yes, an ITST tour will follow.

Looks terrible... People really are desperate if this passes as acceptable for a tennis game on a "next gen" console in 2018. Same goes for TWT.

All Big Ant's games seem to follow the same pattern lately - release a buggy, unfinished mess... Then they maybe get around to making it somewhat passable months down the line (sometimes they don't).

The only positive I can see... The editing features, sharing of players/stadiums/kits online, this is the one thing BA games do well.

Looks aren't everything. Absolutely impossible to assess a game you have never played.

I'm not saying it's great, I'm not saying it isn't. Actually I'm not saying anything because I haven't played the game either.

You can assess plenty without playing...

Animations, physics and AI are awful. Rally patterns/pace of play does not resemble tennis... You don't need a controller in your hands to see this stuff.

I can't comment on how the controls feel, though Elias mentioned on Discord that movement is sluggish and mostly automated.

The amount of net points are ridiculous it’s almost every game. The Hawkeye is good you never really need to use it, sometimes nice to see how close you were but I’ve only had one successful challenge. Online is a bit boring at momemt I would like to play men and woman matches separately and have rankings for both. I think WTT will beat AO in the online department if they don’t change something soon.

Like the game, sort out the animations though and loading times seems slow sometimes.

And penalise people online for quitting just before they are about to lose, somethings don’t change.

Oh no. Far from it. It's just that I find it to look much better than TWT (which looks terrible imo).

I have played now 30 Online-Matches and is very funny...
I like the Gamestyle and is sure good for a ITST Tour.

Only Matches with 99 Skill is without Fun.

I've been waiting for a new tennis game for so long now...

I play on PS4 and I like it even after more than 50 online matches really well. The markups are a bit too strong, so very many aces. From the gameplay, it reminds me of TS4 but probably did not play that for 5-6 years. It definitely brings a lot of fun and is not easy to learn but is good.

AO Tennis continues to improve with the recent patch (Update 1.26)

PATCH NOTES
• Added Ball Speed options to settings.
• Added Game Speed options to settings.
• Addressed issue with Aces when playing online.
• Improved Slice animations.
• Fixed issue with New York Open being played on Grass.
• Issue with erratic aiming marker was fixed.
• Improved general stability.

Work continues to be done on improving animations, along with other things.

It does sound good. The game claims to have "full cross-platform capability between PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4", does that mean that e.g. somebody on xbox one can play against ps4? How well does the online mode work?

On first impressions I like it, though my positive opinion could just be due to me comparing it to TWT. I find it much more fluid and responsive but it's very early days.
