I Played both TWT and AO Tennis....

I posted a small review based on my experience with TWT, and it was a very very bad one.

So I decided to give AO Tennis a try (out of desperation) and what happened is that the game was not bad at all, its not TE , TS4 or FA but it is pretty decent.

The learning curve of the game is pretty steep, I like that because when you pull off hard shots in tough situations the felling is pretty rewarding.

The speed of the ball in AO is much better than the slow mo low gravity tennis we see in TWT.

The player customization is EXCELLENT, you can also download created players from other players (like Federer, Djokovic, etc)

It lacks many stadiums but the good thing is you can customize even stadiums and download also from other players.

The gameplay is much better than TWT, is not the best gameplay ever but it is pretty decent and FUN.

Another small detail this game has that you wont find it in TWT, it has controller rumble feedback.... small detail that makes a huge difference.

I tried it online, played only one match, it was laggy, but will try online again today to see if it was a one time thing or it is always like that.

Yes now it looks much smoother. I think if they improve fh animation of players other than Rafa a little then it ll be great

To make matters worst, I tried both of them back to back offline with a friend.

First we played AO Tennis and we had a smooth experience, nice match. Played for full set

After that we played TWT and the difference was astronomical, even offline the game was choppy, movements laggy, total lack of control over player.... we lasted one game... ONE GAME...

In other words.... TWT is good for nothing, worst tennis game I have ever played, I may say that the word SCAM could probably be used to describe the game and the company that created it, really hope they could proof everybody wrong. I have reallly tried to like it but there is no way they are going to fix it.. the only way is creating TWT 2, and the problem is that nobody would buy it due to the bad reputation they are having.

Finally, I am not trying to say that AO Tennis is an amazing tennis game, it has its flaws, but when you play it after playing TWT it feels like playing an Stradivarius ( And no, I dont play the violin at all)

You can't, the video is from January, so then the game just launched at this alpha stadium. As kamina said it was horrible at this point of development. He said also the patches made it playable, so you better watch a video which shows the actual version of the game.

Well I guess only forums are to blame for these terrible games.

I mean Top Spin 4 was junior compared to Top Spin 3's pro level.

And Tennis Elbow just couldn't get the grass courts right.

The best Tennis game today BY VERY FAR in gameplay is Full Ace Tennis Simulator. It´s a shame it has poor graphics, but i hope they get better in long term.
AO Tennis is much better now than release, but it has a long way to go, animations are poor and for me it´s no par to Top Spin 4 yet
