It's wrong in my opinion, both opponents just deal with an AI partner, with their flaws and strength.
That's a bit sad not seeing interest here, people should try it because imo doubles online are loads of fun.
Managames doubles tour for instance, is running since a long time and still going strong, 64 players draw (46 signups) @ Australian Open : http://www.managames.com/Forum/OT_ViewT ... hp?Trn=236
It may also allow to some average level players in singles to shine in a different discipline.
