ITST opens doors to Pro Tour (Rules included)

Postby djarvik » Wed, 25 Apr 2012 22:09

Some of you may be already aware of it, some of you may not. This is an official announcement of ITST Pro tour.

The Plot:
In effort to accommodate those members who prefer to play with Pro players as opposed to Customs, as well as in an effort to attract new members who are looking fast sign-up-and-play ITST will open a tour where only male Pro players are allowed to be used.

The Roster:
The allowed roster at this time includes all Pro Male players that are included with the original Top Spin 4 game. Custom players are not allowed to participate.

The Rules:
- All cheese from regular tour applies
- Pro-Cheese includes 0-power serves and FH power slices
- Players are to move all the way to the middle when serving beginning of each set (including first)
- Players are not allowed to change their serving position wider at any point of the match
- Player must compete with a Pro chosen at the start of the tournament for duration of that tournament

Features:
Pro players will be locked to a tournament. At the time of the sign-up you will pick the Pro player you would like to use for that tournament and you would have to stick with him all the way through the end of that tournament. You can pick a different player when signing up for another tournament. The players picked will be shown in the draw for a more dynamic experience.
Change Pro Player
You are able to change your Pro player before the draw is out. On the tournament page in the right upper corner (where the host of the tournament is listed) you can find a link to do so. Once the draw is created you can no longer switch a player.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Awesome.

I will get the bitchin started.

Evry1 just goes Nadal and MD is way Overpowered.

Aggassi is just like Welch he's way overpowered.

Evry 1 goes the same player no variety this sucks....

:D :D :D :D
To win is to achieve success. To compete and lose and try again is greatness

Nadal must be banned, it has the best setup because he has very good swings and power but he's the most defensive character in the game... and of course monster defense is too cheesy and overpowered.
Agassi is ok. He has monster swings, but he's not so offensive and (to me) he suffers a lot from his lack of power. He's not powerful against a very good offensive baseliner (and server) and he has to work hard during all games, because his serve isn't a weapon (maybe a weakness).

Btw If any host can clear this up but I don't think there is any need to enter world tour before playing an itst Pro match?? Or I think everyone should enter 2k open before creating the lobby in case of pro tour itst matches??

I think that there should be a limit of pros in every tournament to ensure variety. Say max 4 of each? First ones to sign up gets the best choices. I don't know if it would be possible, but it would be great for variety. :P

I think everyone should enter 2k open before playing a pro match cuz when two days before ts4 server was down then the game was freezing when I did a button serve in a pro player match.. This means that even pro players can be glitched too
