I was purposely avoiding this, so as not to get too complicated, but since you brought it up....

Dampeners do change the feel, but it has a lot to do with changing the sound. Our sense of sound is tied to our sense of touch (just like taste and smell). So, when we hear the racquet vibrate, our brains tell our hands to feel it vibrate.

No, but since you play music, you "maybe" susceptive to it a bit more then others.

Maybe that is why I played better TS3 on Xbox then. :lol:

Lots of break chances blown by Fed, but Djokovic is just a better player at this point in time. Not by much, though. Some great stretches of play, but the match was more of a grind than two players playing their best.
