Making some slow progress. Slice and BH are still pretty inconsistent. Also need to hit a lot harder and improve footwork/positioning.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Wait why are you playing on a country-road? Do you like have to get out of the way when cars come?
I guess this is what they call "Asphalt court".
Anyway, I'm not good player myself but honestly compared to "real players" your strokes are just not up to standard.

P.S. Off topic, your title is funny. It reminds me of, Groundies aka roofies from Hangover 1.

I'm a beginner, buddy, why should my strokes be up to the standard of "real players" ;)
You don't play a Beethoven concerto until you can play your C major scale ;)

And yes, we basically play on the road and have to move when cars come, lol. We get courts when we can, but they're not super handy.

I don't know, it's just your strokes are a bit off. I'm telling what I saw so let's leave it at that. No idea what C major scale is since I'm no art or music person.

I'm unsure about the part "not handy". Are the courts far from you? or does the rain prevent you? I doubt they're expensive.

Nice innovation but if I played on the road by my house I would be dead in a minute!

But hey, you have a racket and are having fun hitting balls, that's what counts. For a quick impression I would say some of your shots are a little 'wristy', did you play much badminton before tennis?

Haha, it's not a main road, people don't drive past often.

I wish I could practice like him. I'd probably be interested even after 30 minutes of play.

Eyyy, be nice! Everyone's a pusher by definition when they start - just trying to keep the ball in play.

Sanchez keep it up, don't let the hatters hat get you down.
