You can't tell much from the video, but as far as I know, this racquet is going to have sensors in it to measure your swing - velocity, acceleration, angle of the racquet face, etc.

I'm a bit skeptical, but this could be a very useful learning aid. Imagine you make a change to your stroke, and you can tell very accurately the effect it has. It could also be very useful for racquet customizing - especially in determining your ideal racquet weight, balance, and swing weight.

I hope they make a kit that can be used on any racquet, so I don't have to destroy a bunch of frames to get the sensors out of them.

Anyway, you'll hear a lot more about it soon.

can't tell about the idea behind that "technology", but one thing is for sure, that black out racquet is awesome, i can't stand Babolat paint job.
I can't believe Nadal has never asked for a different paint job for his Babolat, i assume it's him who doesn't wanna change it.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

At such swing speeds I wonder how accurate this technology is.

I hope they make a kit that can be used on any racquet, so I don't have to destroy a bunch of frames to get the sensors out of them.

Maybe it will prevent players like Baghdatis from destroying them in a hissy fit.
