I think henin is the safest bet, but bartoli or Krajicek (she is seeded for the first time) are my favorites.

Bartoli will never win a GS.

Hingis has a chance of winning.

Henin will most likely win.

I have spoken.

She has a pretty good draw to get to the final.

I went with Henin. She leads the U.S. Open Series ranking chart. It is sealed that Federer and Henin are our U.S. Open Series Champions of 2007.

They will get $2.4 million dollars if they were to actually win the U.S. Open.

Congrats to them.

as long as maria sharapova won't change her game to more variations, she won't be able to win a gs once more. just bumm-bumm-powertennis from the baseline right and left alternately isn't enough vs the williams sisters. they also play that powertennis, but even more aggressive and with much better counter-hits from the defense.

martina hingis can't compete with the top ones. her game is the most intelligent on the women tour indeed, but her hits are simply too powerless, so it is just a question of time when she will get the winner up to her ears.

anna ivanovic won't have any chance vs henin

jankovic the same.

bartoli, hmmm, i think she has to show us more until we can make decision.

williams sisters are veeeery difficult here, especially in the usa. i'm sure they will play their best tennis.

but nevertheless henin is my big favourite. the defeat vs bartoli in wimbledon was a just "blemish" in my eyes. it won't happen anymore.

I have to give it to you Sunny, this was a great narrative about the US Open. Well stated! :)
