Has the Mutant taken advantage of it?

Postby Samael » Sun, 18 Aug 2013 10:03

After bashing Andy the Mutant Murray for the past... like 1000 years, i admitted he deserved to win those 2 Slams. I can't help not to wonder how come he really managed to do it...

My opinion is that he took advantage of the situation... Djokovic, Fed and Nadal, for diff reasons, werent as competitive as before and the Mutant, even though he didnt play a lot better than in his other GS finals, was good enough...

Ofc, that doesnt change anything. Nadal or Fed were in same situation for lots of years, but... I still think The Mutant sucks...
Ban Djokovic forever!

Murray doesn't play tennis like others, he plays chess. Guys with no weaknesses in their game can play that way. Djokovic can play chess sometimes but he's got more will to show the opponent who's the boss on the court, and Murray can cope with being dominated all match long.

Murray and Simon used to play pretty much the same way, except that Murray's wings can produce more from a random ball, and he's got a much better use of slice. Now Murray realised that he can be very dangerous when using his fh full power, he creates many problems.

I'd love to see a Murray Nadal on hard court right now...

Murray-Djokovic is one of the dullest rivalries I have ever witnessed.

I read (or heard) long ago that one of Murray's idol was Santoro... A lot of weaknesses but an incredible "chess player" on court ! Ask Safin ! ^^

That's not a rivalry, that's just two random Top 30 players getting drawn together now and then.

Raonic is #11
Isner is #14... and the new Karlovic ? (to me, he can hold his serve... Not a lot more... That's why his matches last that long sometimes : He's unbreakable but can't break so... :/)

Both Isner and Raonic are WWWWAAAAAYYYY better off the ground than Karlovic. No comparasing.

And this:

is no revelry.

I am with Corbon, Djoker VS Murry is a snooze fest.

I would not call it Chess BTW - maybe checkers

Ok about Raonic, but I do have some doubts about Isner... Isner FH is a bit better (more secure when "risked" #TopSpin3 ^^), but the rest is more or less equal (my opinion, I haven't seen thousands matchs of Isner, but he never "impressed" me... raonic did).

Anyway Raonic and Isner just can't move on court, Delpo is a feather compared to them :D

That's it. :) It is rather clear to me man. WAY better FH, better BH, better movement/faster, smarter player....can even defend a bit. Karlovic is better vollier and MUCH better SVier...but off the ground TOTALLY useless.

Isner's forehand, especially on 1-2 shots, and his movement is miles better than Karloman's.
