Who has had the best season in tennis this year...

Is it my man Murray with the US OPEN Olympics and a wimbledon Final. Is it Fed Djoko, Nadal (HA HA) or has it been some wee guy making a name for himself by flying up the ranks.

The correct answer is Murray. Lets see what you think

No doubt this has been Murray's year, we all thought he was never been able to get a Major, but we were proven wrong by the facts, Murray is a true champion.

BTW congrats to grandpa Federer, 15 years since his debut.

Although the season is not over, it kind of really is. No more slams although I'm a huge fan of a china slam around this time, for lots of reasons. Opens a market even more plus its about time another slam got brought into it.

An Al I'm not bias I'm just passionate about Murray. Guess you never been passionate about anyone enough to support them and defend them when everyone hates him

Everyone can't hate him since you like him, that makes it NOT everyone.

I am passionate about a lot of players, Murray is not one of them. Nothing wrong with that. You make it your business to make digs at Americans, I make it mine about Mutant ;)

About the subject, I think if Roger finishes #1, he is the player of the year. Same is for Djokovic.

You can celebrate Murrays wins all you want, fact of the matter is that Federer coming back to #1 at his age, winning so many titles and finishing at #1 will be a greater achievement. So will be a late resurgence from Djokovic. So as it stands, Murray will not be a player of the year, since one of the two things will undoubtedly happen.

My constant digs towards Americans is as you probably have already realised, it's reactive based comedy. I don't really hate any Americans. Are you American or Latvian?

This was not meant to be a bullshit topic. Like everything else I do. I wanted it to be honest and respectful.

Federer for me has had a season, a lot of people wrote him of and for that alone Federer has been the ultimate professional this year.

It's not biased if I think Murray has had an exceptional year because he has. I struggle why so many people h8 him. He is rather dull an nice, no real character but he is great a tennis an has brought the game to a whole new level in Scotland.

... and my hate for Murray is very real thing  I perk his voodoo doll I made of him daily  double standard much?

Murray did have a good season, great according to his standards, but you asked who had the best season. So I answered, that season is not over and in my opinion there are two candidates, one of whom will have the better 2012 season.

And BTW, I am neither.

Your hate for me is also a very real thing. Double standard how? I'm a dick I grew up in a place where slagging each other was'nt a sign of h8.. So I won't apoligise for what I've said and when I overstep the mark I always do an have apologised.

I may be a total **** prick but I respect ppl who deserve it.

Fed could go and win win Shanghai. then djoko wins the glory tour but that wouldn't really be seperating the 3

Djokovic has the best season so far.

-Grand Slams: 1 Win, 2 Finals, 1 SF
-Masters: 2 Wins, 2 Finals
-Never lost before the QF (one QF, in Madrid)
-Current race points leader.

Only his 2011 monster season has prevented him from keeping the No. 1 position.

These are facts, not opinions.

not true his inability to back up his monster year in addition to fed's six month surge starting with Rotterdam culminating with the Wimbledon win were the reason,as long as he is fit and confident he should dominate indoors he is still the indoor-hardcourt king although i dont seeing him catching mac's 55 titles indoors

Actually it is true.

In 2011 Nole started slacking after winning the USO, up to that point he only had lost 2 matches (French Open SF, Cincy final).

If Federer finishes at #1, it will be hard for anyone to say Djokovic had a better season. I just don't see how, point don't lie.
