First Tennis Memories

For Me it was watching Wimbledon around 93 or 94 Nataratalova playing in a wimbledon Final and there being huge celebration party afterwards in my house. That atmosphere created in my house that day got me hooked on Tennis as a fan. but the memory although faded is still something I'll remember for a long time

Probably waiting some Marcelo Rios match around 97-98, specially if there was an option of him playing Sampras (and I don't know if it actually happened or if it did that I saw it ), then I'd have to jump to Athens 04 with the Gold Medals Gonzalez and Massu won there.
But I really started watching it consciously around 2006 or 2007 in (one of) the top period of Federer (remember hating myself for not watching the AO 07 Final with Gonzalez cuz on beach and no tv )

It's funny because I was introduced to tennis through a tennis game called Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2...(which I still own) on PS2. This is how I learned the rules, scoring, etc. Once I understood it, the first match I can remember watching is U.S. Open 2004, Capriati vs. Serena, with the ball line calls (before the challenge system)

Might have been the final of Wimbledon 99, Sampras vs Agassi, but I'm certain I watched Wimbledon before that - just don't really remember. Probably saw it from the early 90s.

I remember doing a school play or something when I was about 8 and I had to act Bjorn Borg (didn't know who he was, lol). The other guy was McEnroe.
But then the teacher thought Bjorn Borg was too hard to say, so they changed me to Jimmy Connors (didn't know who he was).

Becker Wimbledon 1985. From that point on tennis became one of the most popular sports in Germany.
