All my money is on this croatian guy to become the next worldwide tennis star. He's 18 and has just won his first pro match against Robin Haase on grass at Hertogenbosch tournament... playing serve and volley, he'll face Petzschner in the next round, the good point is that this lefty can play very well from the baseline as well.

Hope to bring this post up again in 3-4 years.

Sorry Xavi, I wanted to split discussion.

I haven't seen this guy play, but anyone at 18 beating a rather competent pro deserves attention. :) Hope you right!
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Good win indeed! Just what I said after his victory over Haase, I said "beating such top players means there is a future for you, excellent win", I said.

He lost his next match though, against a Russian qualifier, was actually a good chance to reach the QF but it seemed like after losing the first set in a tie break he sorta gave up. His next opponent would've been Verdasco. At least he's in the Top 500 now :D
