Proof: smashing your raquets will not soothe you. At least not four, maybe five. :D

PS: I've never done that to my racquets, when you have to pay for your racquets, shoes etc... you do know the real value of things, not like these guys.

I've only done it to a badminton raquet once at the end of a season. It was time for a new one anyway and I needed to get some frustration out. It felt fantastic... ;)

One is enough, he lost all my respect when he went to get another, too much money and free equipment imo. Also i dont get why he didnt hammer the second one a bit more, no lets just go and break two brand new ones instead?

Sorry Marcos but a new racket isent going to help your borderline inappropriate tennis.

Looked kinda like he wanted an excuse to quit the match. If he broke his one remaining racquet, then you're DQ'd.

I've only smashed 1 racket... I had been on a tedious losing streak and had lost another set and I smashed the racket, felt good, changed to a completely different racket and won the match.... So I think it was worth it

Safin broke more rackets in his career than the number of matchs he played ^^

Like 600-700 rackets broken something like that !

Fed knows how to smash a racquet pretty well.

I pretty much want to break my equipment in every match im loosing (no matter if it is tennis or table tennis). Luckily im broke most of the times so that stops me from doing it.

btw he was fined $1.250, and Nalby $8.000, apparently because he threw a bottle of water at someone

That call in nalby match was annoying though, why couldn't he challenge a ball which was later determined to be out...
