Djokovic on drugs?

Postby Samael » Tue, 13 Sep 2011 09:58

Really, i haven't seen anyone play so consistently during my 10 years of watching tennis. I think he might be taking some drugs, since it s out of the ordinary to have a season like this and playing at this level.
Ban Djokovic forever!

I think he is already overrated by all of fans, Fed was doing this for 3 years, defending almost everything, Djokovic did it only for 1 year and all his opponentsa ren't playing his best, Nadal is not playing his best, his year was great but he is not what he used to be, Federer , he is far from best exept the 2 matches against Djokovic.
Murray , Out.
No delpotro, Davydenko, Nalbandian..no ones around. they play but they are not at their prime

C'mon im a fed fan but nadal gave everything he had to to beat nole last night but the match up no longer favours him as nole is a mental giant now and can match rafa stroke for stroke and and beat for pace as he did last night rafa's topspin doesn't bother novak .

even if you don't like him give credit where it is due and it is much easier to deal with the favourite guy not winning now. nole is the best so deal with it nalby has a bad record against novak, davydenko has lost his belief ,
delpo looks like he has been figured out and needs some new tactics im not buying he is not fit he has won titles made semis of a master and played a full hard court stretch. Nole is the best deal with it like the rest of us have

Its not about me not giving him the credit, he had a great year, everyone knows that but im saying people are OVER rating him already like no one did such thing before, okay the record of win/los is best so far but first of all this season is not finished yet , 2nd of all , There were players doing things simillar OR BETTER, like Roger did on 2006 and almost 2007, getting to final of all GSs, winning 3 of em.
all im saying is, YES HE HAD A GREAT YEAR, CREDIT TO HIM, but lets not make him GOD. its just his first year, most important and difficult thing for a tennis player is to keep his form at high for long time, we should wait and see how he handle the pressure, how he handle the tournaments on near future, if he can defend tournaments..etc.
what he did till now is amazing but other players did it too, im a Roger fan most of you think i say it because i hate Novak, but what Roger did in 2006 and 07 ( especially 06) was more valuable than Novak's. because of GSs record ( all 4 finals ), winning titles even if he was injured..etc. thats my Oppinion.
Novak did a awesome job but we should wait and see.

Well Novak' season is probably the best ever, his ratio is 64 wins 2 loses, and he has beaten the number 1 (not anymore) 6 times in a row. I mean Djokovic is doing this season playing with 2 of the best players in the tennis history, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal, that's the important thing.

The best Roger got 69 wins 9 loses and the best Rafa got 71 wins 10 loses (and i see a 82-11 in 2008 wow, i guess he played a lot), but those are just stats, Novak is doing a sensational season, at the same level the other 2 guys have done at least 1 year in their careers

He deserves all the credit for what he's doing this season, let's see if he can keep that level for 5-6 years, like the other 2, but for now....amazing job.

In 2005, Roger only lost 4 times, I think. And in 2006, he lost 5 times, got to every GS final, and won 3/4 GSs (as well as the Tennis Masters Cup, a bunch of Masters series, and beating Serbia in Davis Cup, lol).

Probably, i just got stats since 2007, who were the other top guys at that time? can't remember now, my point is that now Novak is doing this playing with Nadal and Federer  , i mean those 2, with all my respect, are not Rios, Muster, Kafelnivov, Moya, Davidenko, Roddick, Murray etc, see my point? these mentioned players are super players and some of them reached number 1, but you can't compare them with either Fed or Rafa, (16 and 10 GS respectively, and they both with GS on clay, grass and hard court), that's the reason why people are so exited with Novak' season. Not only the stats are important.

no i dont im a fed fan also and i have decided the best way to deal with fed's disappointments is to accept this year for what it is novak's year i said what i said as most people will say you or other fed fans like myself are bitter when we say 'lets see him back it up next year' but your right rafa couldn't do it so lets see if nole can.

as for fed im sure anymore im tired of seeing him get close and then losing it hurts too much i don't know if winning the WTF would mean much as everyone would turn around and say 'best of three not best of five' maybe playing davis cup might give the boost of confidence he surely he needs to find his nerve in the biggest moment i hope.

yep he is, and it's completely normal, always is gonna arrive someone who beats you, happened with Fed when Rafa appeared, and now Novak with Rafa, and in the future Mr X will do the same with Novak, that's life, we have to accept it

your right but when do you think next rafa will beat nole see fed always had the indoor courts as his equalizer when ever rafa showed up for the match but nadal doesn't have that luxury

A 30 year-old Federer almost (should have) beat Djokovic in the semifinals. A twenty-six year old Federer would have kicked his ass.
