Man Federers days are coming to an end.. I say a couple more years of him playing at a top 5 level, but I honestly believe he will not win another Grand Slam.

I think it's really cool they give him a little show of respect like this. He deserves it...

Nah, fed wants records. All of the ones he can realistically achieve anyway. Agassi was the oldest "open era" winner of a slam (forget rosewall) at I think 33... fed will wanna aim for that. Around 4 more years I'd say, but you never know.

You guys might laugh at me but I have a feeling he might be playing til he's 40.

Has any top player ever been in as good shape as this guy (Injuries-wise not physical fitness per se)??

He never gets injured...he plays an efficient game....I don't see why he can't last longer than Agassi

I disagree fed is one of the best players on hard courts particularly low bouncing quick courts so he can still win majors people are reading too much into the loss to tsonga, this is the same tsonga who ran rafa over in the AO semis.
.
but generally speaking he beat the man of 2011 novak the best hard-court player besides him so you right him off at your peril, so who cant roger beat that you feel will trouble him at the slams he has already beaten tsonga twice this year on hard and clay, delpo still has a losing record against fed, rafa will be tough but given the bounce of these hard courts fed can rip his bh more like he did in London last year, Murray in o-2 against fed in slams always expect fed to donate the match to him with errors.

and fed's form is fine all be it he lost to tsonga he served well and made only 11 errors in a five set match so we need perspective. generally speaking he form is good it definitely could be better but its certainly better than last year when he lost to berdy, he played crap against tsonga he played passive when it mattered most but well in the end.

apart from losing to an inspired gran slam finalist and former top 6 player i have seen a reason why fed cant win the us open his second most successful slam event.

I just think Novak and Nadal are going to very difficult to beat at this point of their careers, both being in their prime, and Roger being past his. Roger has lost to Novak in all 3 of their hard court matches this year, and got handled pretty easily in the one hard court match he played agaisnt Nadal this year at Indian Wells. Roger is only getting older, and If Novak and Rafa manage to stay healthy I don't see Roger winning another slam. Although I hope he can prove me wrong, I kinda miss the days of Roger winning every GS lol.

those courts were slower than the ones they will play on now and the one that rfa beat roger one was super slow and high bouncing Montreal is a little slow but low bouncing meaning it will be easier for fed to rip his bh and nadal's only tactic of cc fh to fed's bh is not as effective .

and he beat nole 3 times on hard last yr and should have won the last match in IW went he served at 2-2 in the third set cos he had the momentum and novak was mentally weak at that point he played a bad game that gave novak his confidence back and nole finished off the match .then look what happened in their next match fed be him so fed should of had two iwns against nole instead of one. he beat nole on slow clay. why cant he beat nole on hard.
he doesnt fear nole like rafa does0-5, ans stylistically nole's game suit fed. and as for rafa fed may not even get
the chance to beat him cos he is still vulnerable to beating from a baggy, melzer, or davydenko , murray on a medium paced low bouncing hard court that favors flatter hitters. this rafa's worst surface and he does not have any momentum coming into this hard court season so his confidence is not as high as it was last yr.

fed on the other hand knows wimby title or not not he has the best record on these hard courts and in the grand scheme of things there isnt anyone better than in on these hard courts than fed you could say currently nole is the best . but know this if fed wins montreal he becomes joint leader with Agassi for most hardcourt titles won in the open era on 45 fed has 44 currently that more hard court titles than nole has titles.

and he shoulbeconsidered among the fittest guys on tour just cos he doesnt run left to right like the bull, shaggy, and No-Djoke doesnt mean he aint fit how often do we see fed panting or doubled over the way rafa was in miami

Still think Federer is immense and capable of still winning big trophies. He'd have to be on his best possible form though and also fear he'd need Djokovic's level to drop off. It'll be hard for him but i wouldn't want to rule him out...

i disagree the h2h reads 14-9 so stylistically fed matches up well with nole so he knows if he plays well he can beat him the slice bh will work wonders on these courts look what tomic did nole with the slice and bringing nole forward.

he just needs to make sure if he plays a tsonga he gets a lead and sits on it so tsonga doesnt start playing OMG tennis remember he is the best player on this surface.nole has been the best player this yr but over the last five yrs there has been no one better than fed and should he win montreal he ties agassi as the open era leader for most hardcourt titles won on 45
