I think it will be nadal in 4, but I will be rooting and hoping that fed beats nadal one time at roland garros.

yeah, agree - though i'd rather see Federer win it...nothing against Nadal, but back on the planet where he's from, they probably have clay-tournaments all year round (don't even try convince me that boy's human)

At least you still have have hope. I gave that up a while back when it became quite apparent that on clay we've seen this movie and the countless sequels many times over. It almost always does not have a happy ending where Fed is concerned.

You have to give it up to Nadal though, he has zero shame (and rightfully so IMO) in ruthlessly doing that play over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I think a lot of people would change it up if for nothing else than 'just for the hell of it' but why change, if Federer continually lets his ego get the best of him and refuses to run around his BH?

Not that it's as simple as running around his BH to hit FH's, cuz it's definitely not...but he should do it more often

Well whatever the outcome we all know who the vast majority of the French crowd will be cheering for.


They seem to have quite an affinity for this fellow.






At least 80-20 for Federer, I would guess. I expect even an unsporting crowd if Federer can make it really tight. They'll cheer UE's by Nadal, they'll even start muttering when he misses a first serve, and awesome Nadal winners will be nothing more than clapped.

I wouldn't be particularly surprised either if the Frenchie's started throwing bathtubs, anvils, or wild boars at Rafa.

(more realistically, you could still have one or two dregs rooting for Nadal in the stadium... the world is not perfect, unfortunately)

Don't get me started on the RG crowd...they are the worst of the GS's. Drunk and surly as opposed to the US Open's drunk and overly excited.

Nothing at all against French people in general, I'm just talking about the RG crowd

BTW I LOVED seeing that '#1 finger' after beating Djokovic...that was awesome to see from Roger. A bit cocky I guess, but he must have felt on top of the world after ending that streak.

Do you really find RG crowd the worst of all Grand Slams?...

It's the only place here where i can talk with people from all the world, tennis fanatics, and it seems that The French Slam has the worst crowd for you...

It's hard to discuss about how a crowd behave, but until now, I was really thinking "it's the same everywhere"...
No offense guys, you could be right after all... (Maybe since I'm french, I don't want to hear that! )
