was really looking forward to the Delpo Nadal match.....too bad Delpo now has a hip injury....i really wish the way the rankings worked changed because as a player you say i really only have to defend this many points, etc. then next year you know as a player you can get farther than the year before and gain points.....i liked it better when you gained points by playing each round

After beating LLodra today, Rafa, at the age of 24, has became the player with best winning percentage in tennis history.

Nadal: 82,73%
Bjorg: 82,72%
Connors: 81,76%
Lendl: 81,75%
McEnroe: 81,50%
Federer: 81,09%
Sampras: 77,4%
Becker: 76,9%

I know %s are not always a good information because, for example Connor played 1519 matches during his career, so his 81,79% is pretty amazing  , even though Rafa stat is amazing, he has played 608 official matches and has won 503 (and he's 24), awesome Fed too with 947 played and 768 wins, awesome

Nadal just doesn't lose, he is amazing....a lil off topic, but it looks like it maybe a "washout" tomorrow in Madrid. I planned on waking early to watch the matches....hopefully the weather decides to change its mind.

Ferrer and Nole are in the 2nd set, Novak got the 1st 6-4, but his level is outstanding, in my opinion he's ready to face Rafa on clay.
Best of 3 sets Nole has more chances to beat him, i would say more... he's the favorite..... to best of 5 Nadal is slightly better.

yea....i wouldnt necessarily call him the favorite quite yet, i mean Rafa is the "King of Clay" Novak will have to be even more consistent than the BNP Paribas Masters and Miami. When and if they both get to the final I can not wait to watch the match

Or not..

Also fed still playing decent tennis, behind novak and rafa but yeah. Also it knida unfair to compare rafa % wins now to others who career finish because near end of careers people suffer lots of losses. Also sooo many clay events lol, I wish grass had more tbh, like 1 masters event.
