Mutant vs Ferrer

Postby Samael » Fri, 28 Jan 2011 10:30

Guys, how could anyone like the Mutant's game? This is a pure definition of pusher. Nothing on it's shots... Just a lame excuse of a tennis player... Really... I hope Ferrer wins this one, cos he really deserves it. He's the only one that is playing real tennis out of the two.

Daaaaaviiiiidddfd :D gets the 1st set, i didn't expect he could even win a set against murray, but to be honest this guy was a top 4, so he should have weapons to beat anyone
At work so if anyone is watching it please tell us a bit what's going on there
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I agree that Murray is looking a bit flat today....but c'mon man, if you're going to criticize his game....your words really more aptly describe Ferrer's game - a least Murray has different styles he can play. If anything, Ferrer is doing a bit of a Murray on Murray - sitting back and letting Murray make mistakes.

Are we watching the same match, the same players, the same sport?

Sounds like we are watching the same match but seeing different things

Murray looks to have gone into this match expecting to be in the final....an now is fighting that expectation as well as Ferrer....bad psychology - feels like without that (self) expectation pressure Murray would be doing much better - this isn't the same Murray who destroyed Melzer....

He's faking it. Obviously. This will be his excuse if he looses.

Uh huh. What will Ferrer's 'excuse' be when he loses then?

Man I wished murray played like he did after that niggle in left leg all the time. He def hasnt been a pusher in latter stages of 2nd set and onwards.

Good call....he was a different headspace entirely - there's an air of inevitability to it now....

Murray gone back to comfort zone. Which is ironic is when at worse. Although serve always been good.
