....why did we stopped talking about tennis? :?

Anyhow,

an interesting result from yesterday at LMTC:

Ryan Sweeting beat Blake in 3 sets. Yes, Blake is fading fast but nevertheless I think it is a good win for Ryan. This guy has a big game.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

....yeah, true. Am I the only one who actually follows the 250 and 500 tourneys nowadays? :? I think some of the matches there are great.

I already checked. I see he´s american so i suppose he has an attacking game and a great serve, dangerous player on hard courts

Ive watched the atlanta, Las Angeles, and now Washington D.C. tourneys. I follow most of them.

I was happy with blake in las angeles (back to back wins) but another first round loss has me disappointed once again.

Blake is hardly a big scalp anymore but always interesting to see who can make a run in the regular tour events. Mallise won, I'd like to see him have another good surge again, he is good to watch.

a bit off-topic but tennis anyway
I guess you all remember that racquet Battistone brothers were testing with double handle time ago, well finally Brian Battistone is playing some tournaments using it, this week we'll see how it works in "El Espinar"(Madrid) a challenger.
It seems the ATP is not putting a stop to new "technologies".
BTW.. 80 ATP players use that racquet.

Some great matches yesterday!

Isner over Debaker in 2 tie breaks, Verdasco pulls thru, not a good sign, he should have had this match in straights sets, Sweeting wins again and Simon looked like a genius in his match.

I really hope Simon starts getting into his form, he is a fun version of Murray. I love watching his matches, Murray can learn a thing or two from him. Simon is great at playing defense and actually taking that risk, were Murray will keep pushing....

Simon defeats roddick while berdych struggles through again. I see Malisse also pulled through against Isner
