Kvitova v Kanepi W QF AMAZING!!!

This might be the best comeback i've ever seen in my life! Petra Kvitova wins 4-6 7-6(10-8 ) 8-6 against Kaia Kanepi.

She lost the first set 6-4. Saved 9 break points in the second set before eventually reaching 6-6. Saved 3 match points before winning the tiebreak 10-8 on her first set point. Then she went 4-0 down, and broke back once to make the score 5-2. Kanepi was 30-0 up on serve at 5-3, but Petra kept attacking and forcing errors from Kanepi and broke back again!

Then she had a slight meltdown at 4-5. she served 3 doubles faults, and scared the life out of me when she got a second serve LET on kanepi's fourth match point. So now she's brought it back to 5-5 having saved a total of 5 match points; and she's screaming and barking like a dog every time she wins a point.

She breaks serve again at 6-6, and wins on her first match point at 8-6! AMAZING LOVE PETRA!!!

I may be being totally ambitious, but I think she may have a slight chance against serena. I know lots of people will disagree, but the way she's played, i reckon she can win wimbledon!

Kanepi choking? Wow what a shocker.

It was so annoying how this chick would scream and yelp after every single point she won. It didn't matter whether she hit a winner or Kanepi dumped a ball in the net, it's more annoying that Henin's Allez and is nearly on the same level as Ivanovic's Ajdes.

Can't wait to see Serena bagel her. Actually no I wouldn't mind seeing her win, because than if Bepa wins her match against Pironkova she'll have an easier final to deal with.

i like them both, but glad for kvitova hope she defeats serena. If serena wasnt serving good, Maria would beat her, Maria played great, hope petra takes out serena

Kanepi looked so calm during the whole match and even she lost it at 4-5 or 5-6 final set, when she missed like two match points in a row.
I think maybe letting it out would actually helped her.
Different day, same sh*t...

Compared to her, Li was a bigger disappointment. Up 40-0 in her own service game and ended up getting broken. I mean really? Especially against Serena?

Anyway, I think Kanepi has a better shot against Serena than Kvitova simply because of the serve.

Kvitova's screaming didn't really bother me, cuz you can imagine how psyched she was to suddenly be winning, and she didn't start screaming until she got back to like 4-5.

seriously though, i wanted her to win so badly, and she did very well to save 5 match points. That let she got on the second serve on the 4th MP was awful! she'd already double faulted three times in that game.

I agree with you though picachu221, she doesnt have as good a serve, but she has served pretty well throughout the championships (apart from 4-5 in the third set against kanepi where she got three dfs), and serena had an awful time returning serve against sharapova and at times against cibulkova. I really hope Petra beats Serena.

Zvonareva v Kvitova final is what i hope for, though its not likely
