it could be interesting, watching a match in HD (tennis, football) is already impressive so in 3d it has to be outstanding

I disagree. I know a bit about 3D technology....and I think its is not there yet. For a slow moving action is good, but for a game like tennis, were the ball flying like crazy....its tough. The cameras are not up to par...you will be disappointed. Especially if you saw a few movies in 3D in movie theater.

That said, I would love to try and see it in 3D!! :lol:

But seriously....fast action and 3D is just not good enough yet. Although they are progressing fast. Plus the whole 3D broadcast is not a movie 3D. Meaning you wont see Anna Ivanovic ass sticking out when she is bending to return the serve, or you wont see Nadals top spin shots coming out of TV and coming back into the court :lol:

What they do is create "depth" by separating what each eye sees. This will sorta give a more clear picture and more depth of field to the broadcast. Don't expect move effects thou.... :wink:

Your brain is not used to 3D Video. I bet you will have tough time tracking the ball.....I bet the ball will be a bit out of focus because the 3D cameras won't be able to focus on it. SO you will have a beautiful 3D court and blurry players and balls...

For a casual watcher it will look Awesome. Why? ....they don't actually follow the game :lol:
