Very happy for him. At 31 years old winning your FIRST 1000 event. OMG. Well deserved beating some top players.

Sad for Andy Roddick he deserved it aswell.

Congrats to Ivan. When you look back at his records, you could say he under achieved... Always a danger against the top seeds. Good record in Davis cup for his country. Well deserved to win a Masters title.

Yeah that's really amazing. It was not like he had an easy draw or something.

I doubt he gives a monkeys how they were playing it is still very rare for lower ranked players to come through a draw like that and win a 1000 event.

I don't know, but from where I was sitting, Lubicic simply out-played, out-smarted, out-served and out-risk each and every opponent.

- He was serving great second serves....probably second to Federer at the moment. Clutch serving was phenomenal.

- He picked apart both Nadal and Djoko with great shots, timely net rushes and absolutely wonderful 1H BH down the lines.

- What he lacked in speed, he made up for in shot selections and simply out smart the competition.

- Roddick was never in it - in my opinion. Lubicic was the aggressor in this one and made Rod look like a pusher at times.

I give all the credit to Lubicic. Well done, Congrats!
Level 13 Edberg and counting...
