lung infection

Postby Coolhand Texas » Mon, 22 Feb 2010 00:21

I was reading Federer pulled out of dubai with a lung infection?

How serious can these be? and how bad will it affect him for the rest of the season. It doesnt sound like something that he can get over easily, but then again i have no idea how bad it is.

Come on man. You "stood me up," a common thing this forum. :P

I thought Coke did a great job with estimating the time. Also, there are many types of lung infection. They were not clear on what type it is?

I think I have a lung infection right now and I'm pretty sure I could hit a nasty forehand winner.

Yea man. That is great and all, but I would never want you to pass out on-court doing so! What is a nice forehand winner when you can no longer hit forehand winners or walk on-court for that matter?

Drink some tea (herbal) green tea and get a lot of rest. That is what got me back on track at the end of last year (during the time when Djarvik was sick).

Also, I am sure you get a nice rest! :) Don't worry about that, "You cannot eat ice cream" from the doctor! I ate a lot of ice cream and recovered within 3 weeks or so. :tu

My mother suffered two times on lung infection. Both times she was at home for around 4 weeks.

If you re lucky, you need 2 weeks. But usually it s more like 3-4 weeks to recover.

2 weeks and he'll be back feeling fine. 4 weeks and he's as good as new. Bare in mind he's able to get the best treatment, and fast.

Ahhhhh . . . . don't worry about it. No use crying over spilled milk. I just hope they get better, both Fed and ILuvBillVal.

i think when you have a condition like federer or other well trained sportsman it heals faster and it will be not so a big deal. at all like in 2 weeks

by other untrained ,normal, or older people it is from 3-4 weeks till you can die HARDEST CASE -BUT POSSIBLE

a lung infection is allways dangerous !
