Davydenko vs Nadal

Congratulations, Nikolay! Fantastic game :D
1st set was bad, Davydenko look like many others who morally break when play against Nadal. Maybe Niko wanted to give a handicap to Rafa (who already in a great form and showed super tennis during the tournament), I don't think so :)
but Nikolay wasn't break, in 2nd set he come back to his good game, change tactics, begun to finish attacks by drive-volleys and drop-volleys and give one more lesson to all "how to beat Nadal" :D

for once it seems like Davydenko could be a legit threat at a slam... though he still has to prove that he can beat the big guns in a 5 setter...

I can't see him playing 5 sets like that towards the end of a long tournament but I hope I'm wrong.

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

What a match this was. The best i've seen Nadal play on hard courts in ages. Hopefully Davydenko can carry on this form in majors

The come back kid of yester-year! Very good result. A person to watch out for this year?
