Federer Vs Davydenko

Postby NARCOSIS2009 » Fri, 08 Jan 2010 16:46

Davy is 6-4, 3-1 up at the mo, Fed looks like he has some problem with his wrist. Abit too much touch and go with the backhand, Def upset on the cards.!!

Would be a shame if Federer's GS Semi or better run was hurt by injury, but he has been incredibly fortunate with injuries over his career, minus the virus of course.

Davydenko being playstation , And fed mishitting alot of stuff (37 errors) but Davy played solid and even an on song Federer would have been having alot of problems.

And I think if Davy played like he did today Nadal is going to have alot of problems.

I'm sorta surprised at what i just read:
"He deserved the lead, held it and finished the game. Hats off to him. It isn't that I played too badly, but he played better," said Federer.

Why are you surprised, because those are humble words?,and he´s ususally more arrogant

Yes, that's exactly that. Or there is always a problem when he loses, like his back or he is ill etc. At least he realises he was outplayed in that match.

Good for Davydenko...I like him a lot and I always have. He had a great end to 2009 and he's just picking up where he left off. I don't think it's very worrisome for Federer at all. Davydenko is just an extremely high-quality player.
