Australian Open Warm-Ups

Postby fedfan » Mon, 04 Jan 2010 21:08

As we have a couple of weeks before the first Grand Slam of the year I thought I would make a thread to talk about matches in the lead up.

Watched Gulbis win his opener in Doha earlier, looked solid, hopefully he can string some results together this year.

Also Henin returned with a 7-5 7-5 win over Petrova and looked in excellent shape, fingers crossed she gets a decent draw in Melbourne.

Gulbis will do great sooner or later
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

I doubt it, his family is too rich for him to have the champion mentality.

Rafa looked really strong today, a few errors but a lot of winners. Looks like he has put some muscle back on and is really eager.

Ginepri is good. He just have to stay healthy and stay away from those injuries. That is all. I hope he has a promising '10 season.
