Obviously being #3 in the world helps but its also the fact that british players can go deep into the draw on an alien surface. This match in particular tbh isn't that big i suppose, its just got a large signficance if he wins, as he will reach the semi finals and has a real shot of winning a slam now that hes refined his game since the US Open. Pretty much every match has its weight, but I think starting today, is Murray's true test. However I cant see him defeating Davydenko, but thats bad times if Davy gets through to the final as it will be very one sided v Fed; we all know how well Davy plays against Fed particularly on pressure points
