Murray is playing great tennis. This is coming from a guy whose favorite player is BY FAR Roger Federer. You need to chill out about Murray, Samael. The fact that he is able to play his semi-junkballer, counterpuncher game so effectively against such high-level competition is enough for him to earn my respect.

Let's say it's 2-1 for now. Reese's vote is irrelevant. :D

That´s what i was going to say. Yesterday WE were making fun of Murray( i called him hobbit), but he´s great player, and he only did what i would have done in his case, play to Federer´s backhand.
I´d like to take this opportunity to apologise to Iain or AndyMurrayITST, they support Andy, and we should have respected that, sorry guys.
I didn´t vote.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Come on, man...I don't deny that Murray is one of the most intelligent players in ATP( although playing Federer on his bh isn't something new) , but that doesn't make him one of the most beautiful to watch... :(

Murray is a true cheeser. His best shots are the advanced shos without momentum, combined with failed risk lobs and drop shots in abuse!     :D :D :D :( :( :(

Murray is a very clever player and after Federer probably the most complete and gifted player on the tour! What is there not to like about his game? Ok fair enough people may not like him as a person but you cannot argue with his tennis, its superb, and never boring! what is wrong with people? Dont you appreciate good tennis?

Ok. If you say so... I can't imagine a player who scores 3-4 winners in a match and who plays his fh like a damn kitten to be the most gifted guy in the history of tennis. Tell me, how many of you, non-British, like him? AnyMurray ITST, i am sure that, if you weren't British, you wouldn't like this cyborg. PS: Let's just drop it...

Murray is a gifted player, but saying his tennis is never boring boring, come on. Did u not watch that match yesterday?

Murray barely hit any winners, he just hit evrything to the backhand. Good tactic, very boring to watch. :D

Agree. Murray maybe a more entertaining player to watch then, say, me... but in comparison to other Top player out there, he is one of the most boring.

I should say that I don't hate him at all, he is a talented player for sure...but his talents do not include being entertaining. Doesn't make him any less successful.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

At a second thought, i wouldn't even call Murray a counterpuncher. All he did yesterday was to wait for Federer to make mistakes... This kind of specimens are to disappear from sports. He practically refused tennis. PS: In every match you can see this thing. He refuses tennis... :( :( :( :( :(

This describes me perfectly. I think he's a piece of shit as a personality (I remember when he tagged that ball kid with his racket, but he was a lot younger then), but definitely respect what he's been able to do on court. After he scored multiple wins over EVERY top player, I had to reevaluate my dislike for Murray, and stop hoping he would break his ankle or take up golf instead of tennis.

He's here to stay, get used to him, stop crying about him.

I generally don't like the "counterpunch" style but the way in which Murray is able to interpret matches, at least lately, is incredible and i sinceraly find his way to play quite entertaining: after Federer he's my favourite player between the actual top10 players.
