He definitely won't get whooped like he did in MC. No blue clay and dead grandpa this time, this is the real thing.

If he plays anything like he played against Fed - Rafa is out in 2 sets. Granted, Fed made a good amount of unforced, but the Novak's ball placement was superb thru ought. He usually stays away from the base lines and playing the "smarter targets", bu yesterday he had great depth. Clay or not, when anyone at pro level hits that deep - the opponent is in trouble.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Nadal's grandpa came back to life? If that really affected his game (i doubt it) it is not something that is there one week and is gone the next.

Not sure if you are serious or not, but Novak's grandfather died while the Monte Carlo tournament was proceeding. They were very close: After all it was his grandfather who built the tennis courts on which Novak and his brothers practiced.

Novak decided to stay in the tournament and not to attend the funeral, but it affected him.

Yeah he hit 25 UE's in 16 games in MC, definitely a poor standard for him.

Stupid women, their final should've been over thrice by now. Li Na won the first set, then had a 4-0 lead and serve and lost the set 4-6, Sharapova lead 4-1 40-15 in the decider, then Li rallied to have a match point at 6-5, now it's tie and rain break.

Decision will be made at 8:00 PM local time, court is still wet as hell. There's only a tie break left to be played in the Women's final but Men's final could well turn into a night's match.

Sharapova just won the tie-break.

Don't know if they're going to start the men's final today.

mmm i highly doubt the final will be played on tuesday, if it rains tomorrow it won't be a championship match
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

It was dry during the winning ceremony but the court is still messy.

Really. No championship match for a 1000 Masters when all that's waiting is the 250 Power Horse World Team Cup.
