I fall into sleep yesterday before the Nightsession started and missed the Hewitt Djoko Match.

But the big Matches of the upcoming Nightsession I will record with my HD Receiver. ^^

Because now it gets interesting. :)

So I woke up at 4:30 AM in the hope that Federer against del Potro would start soon, but looks as if I first have to endure Clijsters thrashing Wozniacki. Might not take too long if both keep up this level. :D

Watching Wozniacki is infuriating. I hardly ever watch women's tennis -- can't remember the last time I saw a Wozniacki match. I people call her Pushniacki, and I guess that's part of what's driving me crazy.

I'm a terrible tennis player. I played a little bit as a kid, but spent most of my time playing basketball. Then I started playing golf regularly (which is still my favorite sport to play and I'd play several times a week if I could). I've really only been playing tennis about two years, and yet...there have been about 15 points I've seen in this match where -I- could have gone to the net and put away a volley.

What does Wozniacki do? She just stands at the baseline and waits for Clijsters' defensive shots to float back to her. It's absurd.

Oh the Master is live on the Court. Almost didn't realize it because of a whiny Welch Discussion.

Bend down your Heads! It's Fed, Feddi the Legend Federer. :D

Berdych takes the first set in an epic way: Has triple set point at 6-5, Nadal comes back (especially how he saved that second set point was incredible), the other set points Berdych could do nothing.

But to my surprise Berdych kept his nerves in the tie break and Nadal made a mistake at 5-5: He didn't stop playing although he believed the ball was out. Bernardes was right (same happened in Federer against del Potro at one point, but not such an important point) and so Berdych had set point - on his serve. Ace and after 75 minutes Berdych takes the first set.

Whoever wins this match, Federer has good chances against both of them in this form.

Among the top 4 players Nadal seems to be the weakest. But maybe he needs a strong player to wake up.

And wow Berdych actually lost a tie-break :D

Yeah. Fed must be a definitive favorite though.

Fed looked incredible against del Potro, but Rafa won't allow him to play at his best.
We'll see. My gut says Roger in 4.

Watched the entire Fed match last night. As a result, finally came to the conclusion that, yep, Federer is the best tennis player of all-time.

To play that well at 30 is one thing, but his game, style, seemingly effortless command of the court is truly amazing..... and all this coming from a diehard Nadal fan. :?

Based on their last match here at the AO (Nadal played at an incredible level at the AO 09) and considering Nadal's form this year I guess this is Federer's best chance to finally beat Nadal at a Grand Slam again. It wasn't Federer's backhand that cost him the AO 09, he only got 51 percent of first serves in against Nadal on a very high hardcourt level.

Berdych was a good test for Nadal. Del Potro was a walkover for Fed.

Fed still leads on hard courts and he's had the easier tournament so far (less than 9 hours overall play time) but Nadal seems 100% fit. I'd say 60-40 for the Maestro.

I dont know, neither djokovic or Murray have faced any particularly great players, their draws have been way easier than fed or nadal

i think fed nadal will be close, hoping for fed to take it in 5 close sets. if djoko plays against murray the way he did against hewitt in the 3rd and 4th he could lose.
