Rafa is playing shockingly bad

THANKS :D

So I found out it's only happened twice...once to Coria and once to Gaudio.

The reason we call drop shots cheesy in Gaming is because of how ease to pull them off.....

...if anything, Gulbis got a title of future Top 10 player.

He had a good chance for an upset today. A few startegy adjustments from the coach next time (like more down the line BH, make Nadal cross to his strong FH) and Nadal better hope he wont see him in Grand Slam.

This is no longer the same Gulbis that will go away after losing first set.

50 winners to Nadals 18. 13-Aces.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

Not so sure about that. No doubt, Gulbis is playing extremely well, but his overall attitude does not scream "I'm here to stay!"

Good match, just a bit of immaturity shown in the last game from Gulbis, we will have too see if he can continue his progress. I don't forsee any problems for Nadal tommorrow though.

Did you see his matches before? ...a year back or so? :P

You would not have made that statement if you did.

He used to smile after every point, and braek raquets. He used to just want to hit big, nothing else. He used scream after every miss, argue calls...etc...

His attitude screams "I am maturing! ....and you know what? ....all this attention is sooo cooool!"

I bet at least for the next 2-3 years - he is here to stay. I think he enjoys not the tennis, but the fact that he beat Federer and almost beat Nadal. And that is the drive, the handle.

There is no doubt he is a competitior, and a feirce one too. He didn't give up the whole match, even for a second and pushed Nadal the furthest this year. Did you see Nadals reaction? .....wait for press conference and Nadal showering Gulbis wih compliments

This is not the first and only tourney he is plays good.......this year.... enough said.

You are looking at things through Gulbis-colored glasses. 8)

I gotta agree with Cro. I see very little chance that this kid who already has millions is going to be able to maintain that level of training and motivation for many years.

More power to him if he does, but he won't...
