They have faced each others only once: Wimbledon 2009, 3rd round...

Federer hits a double fault in 3rd set tiebreak. Groth takes the set 7-6 (5) We now go into a 4th set.

Big Ivo won again. Tsonga lost 7-6(3), 4-6, 7-6(2), 7-6(9).
Jo never lost his serve, but Karlovic played first 2 tb perfectly. Third tb was really good, only one mini-break on 10-9.

So Ivo is in R16 in Wimbledon again. Last time he reached QF. This time he will probably lose agst Murray, but still, it's a big effort for a 36 yo.

The trainer on the Seppi vs Murray match has to be the most effective trainer ever. He come son to help Seppi, Seppi wins 6 games in a row. He goes on to help Murray, Murray wins 6 games in a row.

I don't want to be "italian", but if Murray had a shoulder problem, then I am a world class pro player...
Seppi called trainer too, but we know it's not the first time that Andy starts having "injuries" while he's losing.

But anyway, if Murray was "clever", Seppi was a fool.
You don't lose 6 games in a row while you're in control because the other guy called a MTO. You lose them cause you cant handle these situations.

Groth hit a 147 mph serve, the ball looked like it flew through Federer's racquet. He is a terrible mover though and also lost like 1/3 of his net points.

Sam Groth really needs to work on his ball toss. He tosses the ball up then canceled it and said "Sorry mate!" Then he serves an ace almost every time. I'm guessing that his method for getting free points.

Also he's approach shot is so weak because he appoaches nearly every shot. He can become a great player in my opinion.
He just needs to work on a couple of things.

Seppi also called a trainer when he was losing. I think both players pulled the "call the trainer trick" at the start of the sets. And I think you could tell that from the stupid little laughs they had at the net at the end.

Neither were clever, and both tried to abuse the system. I'm not even sure if either were injured. You aren't really injured if you win 6 straight games straight after the restart.

Both players were fools, as well. Murray lost 6 games when Seppi had his timeout, and Seppi lost 6 games when Murray got his timeout. They cancel each other out, on the balance of the match, but I'm not particularly liking the choice of either. If they really had injuries, it would have made more sense to get the timeout at the end of the previous sets, rather than 1 or 2 games into the set.

So yeah. Bit of gamesmanship from both.

Or not. Mr Punchable with a mini meltdown to hand Gasquet the match.

Did you see his Fangirl Club? He had like 6 Aussie girls cheering for him on the stands, I wonder who paid them :)

He is very predictable because he always rushes to the net at the slightest opportunity. It's like he has zero confidence in his ground strokes.
