Wimbledon 2011

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Yeah it is kinda stupid they wrote Madrid. Madrid's like a completely different world from Mallorca.

Why Madrid?? Because it's a city in Spain??

Although I am not doubting the discouragement one might feel, when seeing one's closest rival getting drunk and hitting '7 backhands'. That's just rubbing it in!

It's like...'Hey buddy...not only did I just beat you but I am INTOXICATED and CAN STILL HIT 7 BACKHANDS IN A ROW IF NEED BE.'

I think they mentioned Madrid because Djokovic and his team/friends were celebrating the Masters title in Madrid. I've only found the following video on youtube:

A 360 twist to the above story.

Apparently now all is well.

Rafa’s PR guy Benito Perez-Barbadillo tweeted this statement on Monday:

"Just to be clear: Rafa doesn’t have a fracture and he won’t be off 6 weeks. holidays & July 16th will play a golf tournament in Mallorca."

Toni Nadal said that “information is not true. He'll play in Montreal, as we had planned.”

Get some rest, Rafa, your body’s kaput;
Come back to the U.S. with no sleep in the foot.

Since Xavi enjoys it so much that he wants a seperate topic for it.

If anyone has some good face-to-face insults, just pm them to me, so I can say them to Xavi when visiting Mallorca in october. I'm sure he'll enjoy that.

If someone could also change the name of the creator of this topic...
I would never create such a topic!...

I'm more an hardcore Federer fan, than a Nadal hater...
I don't really like his gameplay, but I sincerely respect what he has achieved, that and also the will and the dedication he put to win and to improve a lot of aspect of his game... Very impressive!
If we love Tennis, we have to respect, admire and tip our hat to this unique champ! And we're blessed to see matchs between Fed and Rafa and Djoko...

Haha! Actually you're right, I don't mind at all (as long as fun is in the place! And that name change was some fun! :P )
But somehow, it kinda embarrased me in the first place...
Haha! Sorry, now I let you bash who you want and I let you rename it like you want! No harm done at all! ^^
(I'm not that attached to a topic in a forum on the net. It's cool! ;) )

Take it any way you wish. :)

And I guess at least for now we get a # 1 who like Fed is a little more candid and spouts a little less sugar coated PR crapola in his interviews, no? :)
