Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Don't think Sebastian Nadal is that much poorer than Ernie's dad but Nadal's been committed to the sport full time since 11 or so while for Gulbis Tennis is more or less a lucrative hobby. Good for him that he's earning his own money :)

Gulbis thinks he is a top player now. Skipping both Clay events this week in preparation for the Masters.

Good? Bad?

Considering he also skipped Miami, bad. :?

Probably stuck in some rehab facility, my guess why he can't play.

Raonic is next. Gulbis never won him and was frustrated as hell in both matches they played. I expect some fireworks tomorrow, poor umpire.

Having witnessed Federer demolish Simon there, it just occurred to me that he seems to be going for the Dimitrov look. :P

I think Gulbis is in Rafa's head a bit. With all due respect, but Rafa had ZERO tactics in this match, with the exclusion of "push, push, push". He made zero adjustments to Gulbis and basically was "there" when Gulbis missed tons of shots.

Not saying Gulbis had a better plan with "all or nothing". ...but a few less of the FH misses and we could have seen not only an upset, but a serious one at that looking at the stats.

Well Rafa has 0 plan right now against Ferrer, and Ferrer is actually playing him the right way, the way Djokovic and Gulbis have been playing him in the past, meaning left-right and eventually finishing at the net when the defense becomes shorter. It's so obvious that all those tactics such as pounding the bh are way too sophisticated to defeat Nadal, whatever the surface...

I agree with what gulbis said.. Rafa did nothing special other than hitting moonballs.. It was gulbis's game actually which decided the match result.. Gulbis was the better player in that match if you ask me.. Just got unlucky
