Were you saying the same thing when he showed that flawless semi final in RG against Djokovic?! its not his skills and age. its the fact that he is not as hungry as before and he can't use his mind when its not very hungry to creat amazing stuff like he was used to, he wanted to win that match very badly and you could see his reaction, if it was always the case, he could do much better. anyway..."he is done" its not new for people to write off Roger but if you think a bit more before writing such nonsense, you see Nadal is doing the same thing, losing matches at the age of 25! but only because he is 25 , they dont have the reason to write him off! Roger was barely losing any match when he was 23-26

To be fair Nadal is not losing a lot of matches and neither is Federer.

Nobody can dominate like they have forever though it's just one of those things.

Big flat hitters like Soderling and Berdych can beat anyone if their having a great day but nobody is going to be talking about them in 10 years time, they're streaky and their up and down records reflect it.

I just keep remembering Sampras and how poor his form was and how little was expected of him before he pulled that USO out of the bag, that's the ability great players have because they are not one trick ponys, they know how to win.

i havent stop been a fed fan i have just stopped believing in his chances at slams nole doesnt play his free flowing tennis nor does rafa so i cant see myself not being a fan but im tired of expecting to do great things when he seems incapable of doing so anymore still he has been consistent quaters or better all year bar rome and he is still 3 in the world still better than sampras at 30. It's partly cuz, over the years, Djokovic has made it seem 'OK' to retire :P

His body language from the start was pretty much pre-2011 joko. Same as the FO semi against federer. He seems to have more fight in him and more determination in some performances this year, but i still think he'l never be regarded as 'tough'. He probably does have a twinge though, and doesnt want to risk it for a cincinatti biscuit.

I'm sure Djokovic was definitely feeling some pain. Nobody wants to mar a pristine record like 57-1 (? I think that's what it was)...I still think he should have finished though. 3 more games?? yeah he coulda done that without his arm falling off, or whatever was wrong with him.

Yeah, I just googled that term to see if it actually meant something. Sounds like it could be slang for some sort of lewd situation involving hot sauce and biscuits? :?

Or a 6-1 set, I don't know about these things.

I believe a 6-1 set is a breadstick.

That's in the rest of the English speaking world. Cincinnati is considered a different country/culture as far as I'm concerned. I know nothing of their tribal ways.
