From what I'm reading, it sounds like I'm missing a classic (as expected)! :(

Really?

I find this to be rather poor quality of tennis (with exception of a few points). Drama-wise - is great.

It was more like drama-exiting reaction. Even with that, with 30-15 Nadal serving, Djokovic hits 2 shots ON the line. That's quality. I love drama

I m not sure if you said that for Nole or for rafa 8)

Shame nadal had opportunities twice in that 4th set to close the match

Agree with you Djarvik, this looks like the reverse of AO match, but with much less long rallies than usual.

Can someone explain me what happened to Djoker? He was not even moving and suddenly BAM, BAM, BAM :|

He chooses wisely when to use his energy and extreme concentration, when he does you can see what he's capable of, in the 5-6 game and tie break he maxed out...and man you can't deny his skill and clutch.

Is a good way to destroy Nadal rhythm. But i don't know if it's on purpose. It's very risky. Let's see how this ends.

You giving him too much credit, this was no choice, no one chooses to lose a set at Major. This was a slight injury aggravated by the Djokers brain and Nadals intensity. Were credit is due, is in the fact that Djokovic learned to fight his brain and minimize its impact on the game.

Agreed!

He's just a phenomenal player!

So strong-willed and intelligent too.

This 5th set is pain. It's obvius Djokovic can't plan this, but it's a good plan.

Couldn't and still cannot watch the match (if it's like AO 2012 final only the drama would have been interesting), but I read there was some wrong call on BP for Djokovic or when Nadal had BP in the third set. Nadal pointed at the wrong mark, Pacal Maria called it out (and it was in). I think Djokovic let affect himself by it.

I think Djokovic needs a 2nd break in the fifth set, not that unlikely him giving away one service game with UEs. Looks like a good temperature for a piggy roasting, though.

Nole isn't able to use his backhand down the line as efficiently as usual today, reason why he doesn't oblige Rafa to move in a lateral way more than he should. Funny both of them aren't playing at their best in the 5th, Rafa not able right now to take profit from some easy ues from Nole.

Funny btw to see how Nole behaves on court, one can definitely see that he is always afraid of a comeback from Rafa today, and his fist pumps are pretty mesured ^^
