No, its called interpretation :D

"shoving the ball into someones throat" does not equal to threatening to kill that person, even if the action itself would surely kill the poor woman.

Good for Serena that she does all that was mentioned here, with charity and so on....but personally, every interview with her I watch, she always acts diva-like, Like I am better then you, with every commentator, every interviewer. That nonchalant, looking-down on people, is what I don't like about her. Its the attitude. Not actions or game play, but the way she comes across.

BTW - have you heard Sloane Stephens talk? Oh boy! What a nice girl. Genuine smile and words. I like her a lot. She is going to be great for us - US.

We both know that she would never touch that linesperson. I think anyone of us has said something similar in the heat of the moment without any intend to actually harm someone. Some famous McEnroe antics have become really popular by now (YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!, answer my QUESTION!) and Roddick is a "cool guy" for smashing his racquets against chairs but whenever Serena does it, you read the n-word and ghetto and whatnot. It's this American double standard that disgusts me. Even American commentators would painfully obvious root for the other player sometimes (Sharapova-Serena AO) and Roddick's retirement seems to be a bigger story than Serena's 15th Slam (better than Sampras now 8) )

:D Why can't the US create someone like Sharapova or Azarenka, total bitches but at least they're very successful and Pova is hot. :D

How do we know that she wouldn't? When did we get to smashing racquets and its because she is black and grew up in the ghetto? I never once said anything of that sort.

How do we know that she wouldn't?

Come back when she's done it.

Things like smashing a racquet, throwing a general fit and uttering stuff like "I want to shove a tennis ball down your throat" all display a lack of self control.

Maybe it an American thing, dunno.

Because she didn't, a minute after she said it, she was about to serve when the lineswoman came running to the Umpire.

So when you call the police to report that someone has threaten to kill you, you expect them to say to call them again when he's done it? Or does that only count when he was on a sport field of some kind?

When someone would threaten to kill me by shoving a tennis ball down my throat, in front of 20000 spectators, a horde of security guards and millions sitting in front of a TV, I'd laugh my ass off and enjoy the moment.

How is this comparable to someone threatening me with no witnesses being around? That's right, it isn't.

your right but that attitude is the reason why she doesnt have a losing record to anyone on tour because she believes she is better than everyone else on tour and she is. sure she does need reminding We are all equal in Gods eyes but lets face it doesnt matter that vika is ranked number 1 sereena is the best player in world .
