Tipsarevic: " Junior Boy will crush Serena Williams"

Talk about anything related to the ATP and WTA tours.

Mauresmo was a choker. If Henin had not retired from the Aus Open final (and Clijsters retired in the SF), Mauresmo would have been a 1 time champion. She was a choker, she just didn't always choke.

at 6-1 2-0 she had control of the match. choker does win a slam because they cant handle the pressure a slam final she struggled at the french open but that doesnt make her a choker. she was on a fed cup winning team a tough pressure situation and helped lead france to victory

I'm a bit late, but the best option would be to merge both tours into one tour. Feminism and emancipation all the way!

LOL what

Henin retired because she realized that she had no chance to win that day and feigned injury. Yeah Mauresmo did choke a lot in her career but not then.

OK, I should have said that if Henin was not injured, then Mauresmo would not have won.

I didn't say particulary Mauresmo is a choker. I said that on wta "mental issues" are usual. And some people uses this to say that in the past WTA was better. And thats not true.

And what about Gabriella Sabatini losing after 6-1 5-1 lead on RG? Wimbledon champion (against Graff), but he used to choke a lot. Well, just my father talks about her.

For the record Mauresmo also won the Wimbledon final against Henin the same year.

Sabatini had some big chokes, only made 3 GS finals. Of course she had the toughest competition you could imagine with Graf and Seles.

Lendl was also a big GS choker, losing 11 out of 19 finals and underperfomring in many others.

Well let's see who chokes first in Tsonga-Raonic. 21-20 now.

Raonic just hit a 143 mp serve.

When this topic is exhausted, could someone please explain to me the concept of the "Ladies Tee" in golf.

WTA players are not the ones who decide whether they play best of 5 or best of three.

Every time I see this thread I like to think of 'Junior Boy' being an actual person. Like how doubles is dominated by a lone man named 'Bryan Brothers'.

Uh.. yeah. So... hang on, the women get paid???

The women should not be paid less for something they have no control over, the majority of WTA players are perfectly willing to play best of five, the ITF does not allow this though.
