Murray pulls out of World Tour Finals and Tipsarevic will replace him - thus Djokovic has a second win guaranteed.

Federer just steamrolled Nadal in that first set.

If Federer plays like this, ie. 2004-2007, hes unplayable.

Gotta love it how Federer's backhand is a weapon on this relatively low-bouncing surface and thus Nadal's typical gameplan does not work.

EDIT: 3 out of 3 break points, so atypical, but again a consequence of the match being indoors.

He's also just firing precision forehands all over the place. Over the past couple of years it seems like most of his losses come when he gets loose with the forehand and starts spraying it for errors.

Best match I've seen Federer play in a long, long time.

Indeed, very good match and no mental lapses in the second set. Nadal didn't play his best, was way too passive even for his standards.

The surface in the O2 Arena is tailor-made for Federer: Slow enough that he has time to get in position for his forehands (in his prime this did not matter, but now he is half a step slower), low-bouncing enough so that his backhand is a weapon, too.

Only saw the second set, Ferrer was great and Djokovic was awful. Ferrer served huge and is now in the semi final.

If Berdych wins in straight sets against Ferrer then Berdych is through to the semi finals, independent of what Djokovic and Tipsarevic do. If Berdych vs. Ferrer goes three sets, then Berdych reaches the semi final if Tipsarevic wins at least one set against Djokovic.

So the semi finals will be:

Federer vs. Berdych/Djokovic

Ferrer vs. Nadal/Tsonga

It's not unlikely that we see Federer vs. Ferrer in the final (they played the final in 2007).
