I think 2011 is the start of federer's "sampras years", like how Pete went over two years from wimby 2000 to 2002 USO without winning a tourney. His form wasn't terrible though, getting to USO finals and masters finals. I think fed will experience the same sorta thing.... and of course probably end his career with a slam win. I'd love nothing better than him to slip to about15th in the rankings by 2013/14 and roll back the years for one last wimby or USO. would be a great end to his career.

Agree with this absolutely, he has looked hacked off in both his matches this week and it must sometimes seem like a chore for him some weeks.

Only thing is Sampras always had THAT serve, with Federer there is so much more to his game that needs to be working to win. The frustrating thing is that his year hasn't been awful he just isnt winning the big matches as often but if he still keeps getting to the back end of big events he will still get some falling his way.

I'd love to see him win the Olympics next year to round off on a high.

Where did you see the Verdasco press conference? What did he say? :D

As much as I love to hate Djokovic, things are gonna get ugly for Murray. He is going to be severely molested out there.

I would not be so sure, Murray is not a great match up against Djokovic and he will need to be really consistant. I still think Djokoviv is favourite, but would not at all be suorised if Murray were to win this

not a Murray hater, but honestly Nole is on another level, haven't watched anybody playing like him for about 2-3 years, not even Rafa or Fed

You just gotta wonder how many more matches djok can play before physical and mental fatigue start setting in. There no way he stays undefeated through queens
