Every surface has a masters series except for grass and it gets nothing. it gets left out. God knows the season is long enough they should at least have one masters event on grass

Carpet also no longer has any masters events. In fact, there are no longer any pro tournaments at all on carpet.

After seeing Federer down a break 2-1 and looking like he was really struggling just come back to the match and he is 5-4 up, what's been the change up?

as far as i know there are no tournaments on carpet since 2009, the ATP asked Nadal, Federer...all players in the top 50, and they all agreed. Main reason was that so many different surfaces caused more injuries
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Simple, Rafa a bit off and Roger playing better and hitting good cross court BHs, but the main reason is Rafa started playing worse... maybe because Fed's game actually, he's also hitting great FH, in short.. he's playing well
They're playing indoor btw

Federer saves from 0-40 by finding some 1st serves, just glad it's more competitive than Miami which was very one sided.

Bad call by Federer though to stop the point on the third bp when he saw the ball wide, overall he has played the big points well and is returning solid on the BH

Hes playing very aggressive. I remember at hamburg in 07 when he lost the first set 6-2, he just seemed to think "ahh whatever" and serve and volleyed a couple of times a game, chip and charging, and hitting groundstrokes flat and really hard, and seemd to hit the lines all the time which we know it super tough even for pros, and overwhelmed nadal and even got a bagel! and i remember hamburg was well slow even for clay.

this is a perfect time for me to cook breakfast and get ready for the deciding set....much more enjoyable than miami....fed needs to add that slice in here and there....it wreaks good results
