What went wrong with young? i heard he was a no1 junior, and pushy parents might have harmed his development etc. But also Monfils won everything as a junior yet hasnt reached the top of the pro game.

Probably because Young still plays like a junior. Wants to hit a lot of balls but no big weapon. Even with Monfils whohas weapons he still sometimes just plays without intent like he probably did very successfully in juniors. I'm sure there was a Brit who reached No.1 in juniors called Martin Lee who never even reached the top 150.

sorry guys but why does he wear that to-the-side hat?, i can't take him seriously, i know it's a stupid thing and has nothing to do with his skills but he doesn't look like and adult pro tennis player, plus i think it's not comfortable.

I've met Martin Lee. He has a astonishing record, beat henman, hewitt etc as a junior in exhibitions. He works as a tennis coach in a caravan park now.

Monfils is a good Example for a Talent Waster. I mean that's nothing special and even I wasted Talents in my Life and many Guys do. But you can only reach the Top with a focused mind and Dedication. This Rule takes also effect for Top Spin Videogameplayer in the ITST.
I don't know how many Things are in Monfils Head but you can't play Pro-Tennis just besides like banging a Hoe in the whorehouse if you want to reach something big.
All the big Guys lived Tennis to the fullest.
