Mucho respect to Nadal for not retiring... we were just talking about if his body could withstand the consistent pounding it takes...

If Murray will not win GS this time, he never will. I think he is playing the best tennis he can at the moment. No more upside. ...and I think it is enough to win a GS.

I don't like Murray, but I think he is the favorite at the moment. Well done.
Level 13 Edberg and counting...

ok just got home from work, what the heck happened? because it's ABSOLOTULEY IMPOSSIBLE Ferrer can beat Nadal in straights ( he can beat Rafa, of course, but not in 3)

never mind i read your posts, he should have retired then, if you're injured there's no problem with quitting, it's not a lack of respect for the crowd
well let's see if Ferrer is able is able to beat Murray, although i think Murray will have more chances to beat Federer in an hipothetical final, and that's what i want

That makes 3 of us. I got the email update and yelled "WHAT?!?!?!?!" That was a respectable move playing it out... but I'm sure it was painful to watch his hindered movement. :(

i read it was a torn fibres in his left leg

No me gusta retirarme.

I don't like quitting. I didn't quit because i didn't have so much pain to quit. I quit when i can't put up with the pain, this was not the case. I don't quit because i can play, at a 'X' level, i'm not gonna say what level, which was not enough to beat a player who played well"

Not leaving the match was normal for me. Lot of people are watching this and i don't like quitting. The feeling when that happens is bad and i like keep trying before making that decision

more or less that would be the translation

PS: did i type "quit"? hahaha

Credit to Ferrer though he really dealt with the whole situation very well and played exactly the right way, running Nadal ragged without relenting, a lot of players would still have struggled to put Nadal away.

Interesting to see how Murray performs now he is expected to win when he has probably been expecting Nadal from the start, Ferrer can hit balls all day you really have to put him away.
