Rafa never lost a match when he lead 2-0...never before!

Fed did...when he became older.

If today should mark the first defeat of Nadal when he was 2-0, i don t know if he could come back then soon...

But i still believe he s gonna take it...Djokovic will get tired or the match will go to an other rain stop.

Rain delay #2

Rafa just broke a streak of 7 lost games.

Seems like a longer delay this time...

But finally there was action on the court.. And who would've thought : 75% 1st serve of Nole in the 3rd...

If rain was forcasted then they should have started the match an hour or so earlier than usual time.. Everytime same story when it rains but these dumb tournament organizers won't get it

Postponed till tomorrow 13:00.... Just when Nole had the momentum...

But rather that than an unfair ending...

What unfair.. Court was slippery agreed but same conditions for both of these guys. It was nadal moaning about the conditions again n again.. Nadal needed to break novak's momentum and he got it. Just surprised that rafa didn't use the strategy of medical time out with his medical trainer to break novak's momentum

Anyways even if this match goes to 5th set I doubt Novak will win the 5th set because of the delay

You were in Paris? If not I really doubt you could know if the conditions were still ok at 20:00...
And even if Rafa was eager to have the break I doubt he'll sleep good tonight, knowing he could have won in three...

I thought Rafa would lose the momentum after the first delay when he was leading 5-3 in 2nd set but then he closed it.

But overall I would say it's an advantage for him, Nole was clearly dominating.

Apparently Rafa was complaining that court is slippery.. I didn't see even a single time rafa slipping during the rallies.. But he would complaint anyway about the conditions.

Nole do those kind of things a lot of times, more than rafa.

Rafa is 100% right. The first stoppage was at better condition then second.

Ali, have you ever played on red clay in the rain?

Actually they should have stopped before.
I know clay, obviously, and i can't believe they played so much time in those conditions

And about Rafa's complaints....what's the big deal?, these guys are pros, they try to take advantatge of any situation, all players do that, or should do it if they're smart, pros play to get titles and money not to have a good time like we do. Djokovic was playing better and Rafa wanted to stop, if Rafa had been winning and playing great Nole would have been the one trying to stop, but again where's te big deal with that?, completely legal. The umpire makes the decision.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.
