Probably haven't seen anyone serving and volleying and being actually effective (top level anyway) since sampras at 2002 us open. What's all this about slow courts, easy to pass strings, heavy balls etc? Bet federer doesn't think that at this second!

damn, Fed breaks back, Stack's game is very risky but it's actually very fun to watch

Bit uncalled for that, fed is way classier than that.

Never seen this before from him. I know it's a legit tactic but it's lame to pull it out now.

It's fair to say that Stackh played a super match, but yes this is a tough loss for Federer,Wimbledon has been his garden all this years, this is a turning point in my opinion, same as if Nadal was defeated in 2nd round in RGarros.

It's more of a new low. But if you've followed Federer's season so far, he had quite a few subpar matches. Rotterdam, Indian Wells (injured though), Madrid and his run to the Rome final included lower seeds and then he was pummeled by Nadal. French Open same thing, it was the mega easy draw that still brought him to the quarters (almost lost vs Simon) and then a solid, not amazing, Tsonga beat him. Halle had no other top players. Now it just hit him in a Slam.
