i disagree nadal is better physically and mentally than federer, but roger due to his gameplay doesn't need so much stamina.

I wasnt EXPECTING it , I thought he would have been lucky to get to the final!

Im really not bothered who wins Murrays time will come if its now then great !! if not then Fed proves all the "Fed is finished idiots" wrong.

have you guys seen murrays past performances against federer? murray is 2-1 up , and hot on form , so i dont think federer is too strong for murray.

nadal was probably the toughest person that murray could play in us open and he pulled that off.

us open is the one slam that murray thinks he has best chance in and i think he will do it :D

I'm not trying to cause a row of arguement on what I'm about to say, as perhaps there will be a few of you refuting this entire claim, but I find Federer's win here at the Open quite unjust. His competition throughout, other than Andreev was lacklustre. I have never seen Novak play so disheartened and that was by far the weirdest semi final Ive watched in terms of gameplay and emotion. Federer is going to clearly win this in three straight sets, as Murray will prove to come out edgy and play inexperienced as this is one of the biggest stages in Tennis. It's a highly debatable matter, but in my eyes when Federer holds this trophy up for the fifth time, he wouldnt have deserved it; Murray is going to make too many mistakes and Federer will have enough experience to just keep up in a rally and stay consistent. All i can do is hope for Andy to prove me wrong.

I agree, Murray in 4 boys. I'll be surprised if Federer wins. Murray was immense against Nadal...comprehensively outplayed him. I've never seen him hit his shots with as much weight as he did the other day.

I really hope Federer does NOT win. LETS GO MURRAY! :)

I'm also very happy for Serena & being #1 again. That's where she belongs. These Serbs are too cocky, arrogant, and inconsistent. As much as I hated the Belgians (Henin and Clijsters) they were at least worthy of holding the #1 spot.

Maybe you won't see this shots again, because he was just lucky and could play them once in his life  Just kidding.

I'm curious to see the final

Yeah, but why is New York 6 hours back. In my opinion everything should be done to make it most comfortable for Europa

I remember the Olympic finals in swimming. The finals in Beijing's morning so that it's Prime Time in the US. I didn't like that one...

Nadal could play on 1 leg and Fed still would have a hard time beating him.[/quote]

HOW COME YOU DON'T RESPECT FEDERER LIKE this?????
Man come back on earth, how can you write nonsense stuff like this???
Remeber last time they played and Nadal was tired??? Do you remember??? Yes / no?? well, remember Hamburg, Nadal was tired A BIT and what was the score?? 6-2 6-0 in the last two sets.
Thank you.

Nadal is a great player that deserve all the respect of the world for many reasons but please don't talk about him like the best player ever.

i think it gives a clear 3 set victory for fed ex..murray is a little tiered (1 free day more) and he have a great form and he trust save himself after his semifinal victory about djorkovic. murray is clear out sider in this match. BUT.............
he have nothing to loose and that make him dangerous- hope for a good final
normally io hope for final nadal-federer
