I was at a Davis Cup match and watched Sampras blow a two set lead to Corretja on grass. So yes, anything is possible.

BTW: The match was on grass, not Corretja.

I'm surprised so many people vote for USA. If they are away all a country has to do is choose clay and they immediately have the advantage. Sure they beat, wasn't it Romania, on clay, but they certainly would have lost to Spain on clay, even without Nadal.

I voted for Spain, but I really don't have a clue about the Davis Cup. Apparently Russia are the best on paper, unfortunately for Russia paper is not a surface they are likely to be playing on.

There's nothing stopping USA from winning the Davis Cup.

Yes there is. A powerful Russian team, as well as an underrated Swedish team. Sweden totally handled Argentina (albeit without all of their top players).

I think USA has a go at it. They normally make it far for Davis Cup.

Hard to imagine how Rocky would be in the same weight division as Drago... ???

I wouldn't be fighting that big hard bastard even if I WAS Rocky.

I don't know how Ivan "I Vill Crush You" Drago is even in the same species as Rocky.

I think it's "I vill break you". But anyway, c'mon. You know you pulled for Rocky. I saw Rocky IV in the theater and the whole audience was chanting "Rocky, Rocky, Rocky"
