Another chance for Gulbis to prove he can be a great tennis player.

steyolol probably died when fed lost to chard

did anybody here get to see the whole match? I watched the first set and mistakenly thought it was over, turned it off only to see fed had squandered it all away

Well, Fed came in Rome just to be there ! He can't miss 2 ATP 1000 consecutively just because Mirka had twins. I saw the first and the third set. It wasn't a defeat like those from the last year. He just didn't seem very focused in there; won the first set like that because Chardy was simply atrocious.

Epic fail for Gulbis instead. I think his potential could be very well overrated. I'm still waiting though for him to see how he does against the top players since he didn't face them much in the last years (which also means something). But Ferrer man ! You can't lose like that against him ! The other guys are just playing with him.
Right now Gulbis is:
1-2 Federer, 0-7 Nadal, 1-4 Djokovic, 1-5 Murray, 0-3 Ferrer. The only significant victory is against Federer in Rome but who didn't beat the swiss in Rome ?1..I know Volandri did
